Welcome to the annual Wind|Wing Cup – the premier slalom race & wing series in South Africa- to be held in Langebaan 14-18 January 2026.
If the weather plays along, we are likely to have 3-4 days of races, on various courses. The slalom series will be a separate competition but will give you an entry to the Downwind Dash race on the Saturday or Sunday as well.
Entry Options:
Full Week – allows you to race all events including Dash, includes a new bib and all dinner functions
Single Day – allows you to race one of the Cup event days and includes the Dash, includes new bib and a dinner function
Downwind Dash Only – this allows you to compete only in the Dash only – no bib – kiteboarding allowed in this event
As always, there will a few evening of braais, burgers, beers put on by the sponsors and hosted at Cape Sports, Friday Island, and Wind Town Hotel – always great social events, to catch up on the days racing.
New race bibs will be supplied this year, so please be sure to book and pay for your race ticket. No race entry, no bib, no racing. In the “Special Instructions” part of the order form, please list your preferred size. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate special race number requests
Please order your race entry online here and pay by card. We do not want cash on the day. All entries to be done online. This race entry automatically enters you into the Downwind Dash.
Please understand that a lot of time and effort goes into organizing this event. The organizing team put in their time for the benefit of the windsurf racers, so please respect their call for all to buy their “race ticket” and abide by their decisions during the race week. Do not just pitch up and decide to race with the rest of the paying fleet without prior approval.
